Yummy!

My brother-in-law is famous in his community for the corn he grows each summer. This year, my sister let us know the corn crop was plentiful and tasted really sweet and asked if we wanted some. Music to our ears! This past Wednesday,we made the hour-plus drive to their house and brought home 70 ears of corn. After we got home, Tom shucked the corn while I (Nancy) found my large stock pot and began heating the water. It didn't take long to get all the ears of corn blanched and put in the freezer. And of course we had corn on the cob for supper! It was just as my sister said... really sweet. Reminded us of all the great corn on the cob we used to eat from Tom's dad's garden.

Now, if we just knew someone with a peach tree...
